Hi, admission to Delhi University will he based on your percentile of 4 best subjects score combined and not the overall aggregate Percentage that you have scored in your qualifying examination. The subjects that you count in best of four are dependent on the course you choose. There are certain rules that are set By DU to help students calculate best of four percentage.
  • One language is compulsory (English/Hindi)
  • One academic/elective subject in which you wish to take admission
  • The rest two academic/elective subjects should be mentioned in LIST A and LIST B provided by DU in it's Bulletin of information. Any subject included that isn't mentioned in these lists will lead to 2.5% deduction of marks each.
In order to know more how to calculate best of four read the article: https://university-careers360-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/university.careers360.com/articles/delhi-university-admissions-how-calculate-best-of-four-marks/amp?amp_js_v=a2&amp_gsa=1&usqp=mq331AQA#referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&amp_tf=From%20%251%24s&ampshare=https%3A%2F%2Funiversity.careers360.com%2Farticles%2Fdelhi-university-admissions-how-calculate-best-of-four-marks

there are various colleges under Delhi University, whose merit/cut off lists have recently been released, and around 17 of the Colleges offer to 1% relaxation to the girl candidates in various courses, who have applied to DU for admissions this year. When the cut off lists are released, the colleges mention the percentage of relaxation they provide to girl candidates alongside the course. You can check the cutoff list for the course you have applied for and see which Colleges offer 1% relaxation.
