Hi,

In du the admission to some  undergraduate courses occurs through DUET. While for some courses The admission is taken on the basis of merit in class 12th.

The cutoff marks required for merit based admission varies every year and depend on factors like course, category, percentage of The student etc.

As you have not mentioned your category considering you as a general category student, for some courses the cutoff is very high. A student can get admission with this percentage in a few courses like  ba hons. In bengali, ba hons. in sanskriti. For other courses it might be difficult for you to get admission with general category. You can check the following link to have idea about the cutoff marks required for admission in other courses at DU.

For those courses which require entrance test the merit is decided by the marks obtained in entrance test.

Hope it helps.
