CSAB is conducted for admission into various Self funded Technical University. It also fills vacant seats of NITs , IIITs, and other GFTIs.

As per information available in public domain, a student could only change their category from SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS to OPEN category in spot rounds. Vice versa is not allowed. So, in your case you want to change your category from OPEN to SC so you can't change it in CSAB.
