Dear candidate,

You don't need to worry about discipline if you are not finding in option according to your bachelor's degree. You just need to select others from option or select CSE or IT.For more information you can visit here

Hi aspirant,

In CAT application form there is no such field for software engineering. So now you have three available option Computer science and engineering(CSE), Information Technology(IT) , electronics and communication(EC). If you only learned about technology or programming languages then you can choose IT. if you learnt subject apart from IT like compiler, Or other hardware subjects then you can choose CSE. And if you learnt about different kind of circuits then you can select EC.

Hope this is helpful to clear your dilemma.
