No there's no problem as eligibility criteria for Mtech is The applicant must have a master's degree in the relevant subject or a bachelor's degree in engineering or science (4 year program) with marks/CPI not below the specified minimum. Valid GATE/UGC/ CSIR score is required for financial assistance, except for graduates from IITs with a minimum CGPA of 8.0.
