With a rank of around 25,424 in the SC category, it becomes difficult to secure a seat in the IHM's when comparing the results of previous years. Last year, the closing ranks for the central government IHM's  was around 12,000 and state government IHM's were around 22,000, which was a close one. But, you can get into any private institutes of your choice. Also, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats.
