Hey Dipu,
As you have mentioned that you have scored some 294 marks in your 12th examinations which means that you have scored about 58% in 12th. (I am considering that you have five subjects in your 12th grade.)
So yes you are eligible for GIVING NEET entrance exam since the eligibility criteria of NEET says that you must have scored minimum 50% marks in the qualifying examinations ( 45% for Physically Handicapped and 40% for reserved category).
Other Eligibility Criterias for giving this exam are :
  • The candidate must have minimum 17 years of age.
  • The candidate must have passed 12th examinations with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects.
Good Luck!

Hi Deepu,

As per the norms and guidelines set by the NTA, an aspirant needs to have an aggregate of more than 50% in 10+2 for general category, but for reserved category it drops down to 40% and according to your current score you satisfy the minimum requirement criteria and hence can appear for NEET.
