Hello laxmegundewadi,

Based on previous year cut-off, to attain a BDS seat in a government dental college, a candidate is required to score a minimum of 450 marks in NEET. A minimum of 50th percentile under general category for those who seek admissions in private dental colleges is a requirement. If you belong to reserved category then you may have a chance for a government seat the SC/ST/OBC cut-off score was 146-113, but if you belong to a general category then you have to look for private colleges for bds seat.

Under 15% all india quota, you need to score more than 480 marks in neet to get BDS seat. As you have got 440 marks so you might have a chance for getting the seat in government college.

Hello aspirant,
I hope you are doing well and good. Congratulations on performing well in NEET examination. As you secured 440 marks in neet which is good score to get admission but you have less chance to get a seat into government college in BDS courses. Because BDS course have high Cut-off marks criteria. So otherwise you may go for other courses like BHMS and BAMS.
