As per the previous year cutoffs and by assuming general category you have a tough chance of getting Medium ranked NITs.
You can get some seats of lower ranked NITs such as NIT Patna, NIT Hamirpur, NIT Durgapur, NITs from North-east,etc and some IIITs such as IIIT Nagpur, IIIT Pune, IIIT kancheepuram,etc.
This is the first time for the EWS category so you will get better than this options as the cutoff may be less for EWS category.
