Since you have not specified the exam in which you get this rank, I will give you a general idea about the relationship between rank and percentile.

Percentile can be broadly defined as the percentage of candidates who have scored less than you or you can understand it as the percentage of the candidates from whom you have scored better. So if you have a percentile of 99.68 then you have performed better than that many candidates.

Let us assume there are 100,000 test takers, then the rank will be :

100,000 - 99.68*100,000/100 = 320.

similarly if the test takers are 1 million as case in JEE, you will get a rank around 3500.
