PSG College of Technology is an autonomous, government aided, private engineering college affiliated to Anna University. The college offers a total of 48 full-time and part-time programs in Science, Engineering and Management at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. In addition, the college also offers MS, M.Phil. and Ph.D. courses.

The full-time B.Tech courses are offered for a period of four years and B.Sc. courses are offered for a period of three years. The full-time MBA, M.Tech and M.Sc. courses are offered for a period of 2 years, whereas, the MCA course is offered for a period of three years.

Application process to the B.Tech courses starts by the end of June and for the PG courses, it starts in the month of May. The application process for the Ph.D. courses starts by mid of May.

Cutoffs are calculated out of 200 by the formula:

• Cutoff = Maths/2 + (Physics + Chemistry)/2

where every subject is out of 200.
