Yes, getting 117 marks in  GAT is enough to get into GITAM University, Vizag. You can get easily as you didn't mention your gat rank, so for CSE, I suppose you might have got a rank of below 500.

Best to take CSE or IT in GITAM as anyway, they'll get the majority of IT companies for recruitments.
