You have fair chances of getting an admission in medical college is predicted looking upon your rank in KEAM category and the caste. Do not step back and do wait for the result. Unfortunately the number of seats allocated for admission through KEAM category is just 1% and we cannot take chances as the total probability is less. Therefore it will always be good to have a backup plan and to have choices if one fails. So look out for admissions in private medical colleges also and do not depend only on Government medical colleges only.
