Hello Candidate,
The authorities have not officially declared any cut off lists yet, but last year the closing rank for OBC candidates at NIFT Chennai ( for BFTech course) was 796. So yes, you have high chances of getting NIFT Chennai with your OBC category rank.

hii anaragha

i doesnt know which category you belong while i will say , its hard to get the Chennai as the cut of the 2017 trend for the genral 506 while SC: 1504 ST:4374 OBC 923 where as NRI is 5027
