Hello Sumit, No, I don't think it would be beneficial for you. JOSAA Counseling is for people who want to go into government engineering colleges like NITs, IIITs, and others. But I don't think you would be able to secure any seat given that you are from general category. I suggest you apply only for home state colleges because then you can get home state quota benefit. But I don't think that with a rank of 157271 in general category, you would be able to make it to any of the colleges.
