Hey ritika
With 222 marks and belonging to obc category you have no chances to get seat in govt medical college. But you might get seat in private medical college in you domicile state through state quota. However 222 marks are too low to fetch govt dental college also. You might get private dental college with these marks. I provided a link below which can help you to find colleges as per you neet score.

If you want to drop a year then you have to confident that you can surely get good marks in neet 2020. If you not sure or confident then it will be just waste of time. Since you have extreme desire to become doctor so build confidence and surety in yourself and prepare harder this time.

Hello aspirant,
You can only get a private dental college with this score if you belong to the UR category.
If you are fully confident about yourself, you can take a drop. There are examples of  students that scored less than you in their first attempt but made it to a great college in their second one. But you have to work very hard and smart, getting a government mbbs college in India is not easy. As of parents, they're probably not convinced as they are not satisfied eith your score, but they'll be supporting you in your decision if you explain to them and they get to see your efforts. Make sure to subscribe for any online/offline tests for the whole year and study NCERT the most.

Hello aspirant,

Though you belong to the OBC category but with this marks I don't think you can get a seat even for BDS in government colleges. If it's your wish to become a doctor then better you can drop and prepare better and score 550+ next year. Then surely you can get a good government college for MBBS. Or you can aso take admission in B.Sc course and prepare for NEET.

Hope it helps! All the best.
