Dear Student, 

With a rank of 2626 and being from General category you have some chances of securing a seat in any NIT as one needs to have a rank under 2500 to secure a seat in any good NIT. You may not get a top one but you definitely have great chances of securing a seat in an average NIT (which is better than any other engineering college). The cutoffs vary from year to year and sometimes also goes to rank upto 3000 so you do have good chances.

Yes, definitely. Congratulations, on your success. You can easily get admission into the top NIT of North or South like NIT Trichy, NIT Warangal, NIT Surathal(branches other than CSE and Electronics )or even in NIT Allahabad the top NIT in North region.

Make sure you apply for the Counselling process for JOSAA to apply for admission in these institutes.
