2.6k rank is really good. The top colleges for engineering are IIT-M, IIT-D. IIT-Kanpur, IIT- khargapur. (this is assuming that youve got 2.6k rank in JEE, then getting admissions to these colleges is really easy)

however, 90 percentile in JEE is a different story. 90 percentile in JEE is pretty low and you can most likely get into the lower rung NITs in the lower rung branches
