Hello Sadananda,

To avail admission in MBBS you need to obtain the NEET minimum qualifying percentile or minimum qualifying score. The NEET qualifying score is the minimum percentile that if needed to be achieved in order to gain admission to any medical college by passing the examination. For this each category has their own percentile.

1- unreserved category : 50% that is 701-134 scores

2- physically handicapped : 45% that is 133-120 scores

3- scheduled caste : 40% that is 133-107 scores

4- scheduled tribe : 40% that is 133-107 scores

5- other backward classes : 40% that is 133-107 scores

6- scheduled caste - physically handicapped : 40% that is 133-107 scores

7- scheduled tribe - physically handicapped : 40% that is 133-107 scores

8- other backward classes - physically handicapped : 40% that is 133-107 scores

You can obtain your eligibility on basic of the criteria given above keeping in mind the category you belong to.

Hello Sadanand

On the basis of your score it is like impossible for you to get seat into any Government medical college in India even in home state quota.

But you can try for some private Medical colleges in your state but they firstly charge a huge chunk of money. Secondly there management wouldn't be good.

If you still want to do MBBS then i would say do prep for 1 year for NEET.

But if you want to do MBBS this year then you can look up for MBBS abroad . It costs less and good quality of education.

Hope it helps
