Hey, 300 marks aren't that promising to fetch you a seat because if you analyse the previous year data you'll see that you need atleast 450 plus to be on the safe side to take seat in BDS . Also since you haven't mentioned your category, I can't say things for sure. 

Still, irrespective of the category  I would say that 300 marks give negligible chances to take a seat in Maharashtra government college.

You have not mentioned your category,nevermind ,last year least marks to secure a seat under 70% regional quota from general category was 467 marks and 432 marks from OBC whereas under 30% state quota 459 marks was the least marks from general category and 448 marks from OBC category. So as per that you won't get a seat as your marks are too low .Talking of which remember that cutoff varies every year depending on number of students appearing in exam, difficulty level of exam, students scoring more than you and your category.
