yes, you a got a decent marks in PCMB but as we know that only three main subject's marks are consider during getting admission in either Engineering or Medical college.

KCET one of the famous exam to get admission in Engineering , Architecture and Pharmacy for the local students of Karnataka.

Eligibility criteria:- Candidates must have passed with minimum 50% marks in the 2 ^nd PUC /12 ^th standard or equivalent exam to appear for the exam. Also, they must have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology as compulsory subjects in their secondary education.

There are more than 200 colleges accepting KCET scores. Based on the marks secured candidates will be allotted seats into the institutes. Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will release the cutoff after the end of each counselling round. Candidates must note that KCET 2020 cutoff will be different for each college, course, category, and round of counselling.

As you scored 142 out off 240 in KCET the you sure get a good college as the cutoff goes about 50% and you have  scored more than 50%. But its not enough good because the minimum qualifying marks for general category goes 50%. and you have scored about 59%. So you can get some lower college of Karnataka.
