Don't Miss: JEE cutoffs for top IITs | JEE Main cutoff for top 10 NITs | JEE seat matrix
Hello shiva,
Hope you are doing well. IIITs , NIT's and GFTI's are the most preferred government technical institutes and every engineering aspirant wants to either go to IIT, NIT or IIIT or GFTI and thus the competition is very tough and only few could go there due to the limited number of seats. Also the cutoff ranks are very high. And if 40500 is your sc category rank then there is not a single chance of you getting admission in any of the IIITs or NIT's as it requires a rank under 7000 in sc category because if this is your sc rank then your general rank would be very much low and so you will not be able to get into this institutions. Now coming to GFTI's the competition does not reduce here also it depends on various factors that you will get admission in it or not though you can try for GFTI's but then you have to compromise with the branch as you will get some lower branch only. So according to me you must also start trying for some private college.
