If you got 43% in MHT CET PCB group, then it may be hard to get admission in top government pharmacy colleges. But you still have chances in some private and semi-government colleges in Maharashtra.

Some private pharmacy colleges accept students with 40% and above marks. If you belong to a reserved category like SC, ST, OBC or EWS, your chances become better.

Some colleges have management quota or minority quota seats. These usually have lower cutoff marks, so you can try admission through those.

Colleges in rural areas or small cities like Jalgaon, Amravati, or Nanded may have lower cutoffs. You may get a seat there more easily.

If you don’t get B.Pharm directly, you can take admission in D.Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy). After 2 years, you can join B.Pharm through lateral entry.

To know which colleges you can get, check the MHT CET counselling portal or use college predictor tools online.

Hi ,

Congratulations on scoring 89.31% that's a pretty strong score for MH CET Law (3 years). Based on previous year trends, you have good chances of getting into reputed law colleges like GJ Advani Law College in Mumbai.

  • GJ Advani Law College cut-off is usually around 85–90% for General category, so your chances look good, especially in Round 2 or 3.
  • While in Ravindra Chava Law College the cut-off is a bit more flexible, so your chances are even better here.

Do participate actively in all CAP rounds and make sure to keep both these colleges high in your preference list.

All the best

Hii,

With 43% marks in MHT CET (PCB group), it may be hard to get admission in top government colleges for Pharmacy. However, some private colleges and minority institutions in Maharashtra still accept students with lower CET scores.

Look for colleges under CAP Round 3 or Institutional Round. Some management quota seats are also available in private colleges. Consider colleges in rural areas or newly opened institutes, where cut-offs are relatively lower.

You should keep options open and prepare your documents for admission like mark sheets, CET score card, caste certificate (if applicable), domicile, etc.

If you got 43% in MHT CET PCB and the college allotment has given you a pharmacy seat, then yes, it's possible depending on the cutoff trends and your category. With this percentage, you may get admission in private or lesser known pharmacy colleges. If you're not satisfied with the current allotment, you can wait for further rounds or consider management quota options. Just make sure the college is DTE approved before confirming.
