Hello
Previous year the last student who got admission to government medical college in BC category in SVU had 436 marks.
So, with 493 marks you have high chances of getting a decent government college through state quota.
Having said that cutoffs change every year depending upon level of toughness of exam and number of students appearing etc.
So follow the counselling process and hope for the best.
