I got 54% marks in my 12 with CBSE board can i get NIT this year via JEE MAIN 2018.

For writing IIT jee mains first of all a individual has to score minimum of 75% in boards exams.

In order to be eligible for NITs you should have 75% marks in your board exam or you should be in top 20 percentile.

For SC/ST you should have 65% marks.

There are many private colleges who consider JEE Main score to provide admission you can apply for them. Eligibility criteria vary from colleges to colleges. In order to apply you have to apply for application form seperately.
