Christian medical College, Vellore is one of the premium medical College to study medicine and it's ranked 3rd all over India.

There are very few open seats for other states students. There are only 16 seats out of which 12 for Gen category and 3 seat for SC/St category and 1 seat for central pool quota.

So cut off marks goes usually very much high for this college. Last year cut off marks was lil bit low because of multiple postponement by tamilnadu state counseling mangament.

Last year cut off was 626 marks for Gen category and 535 marks for the SC/ST category. Usually cut off will be higher than that.

So if we compare then you have literally very rare chances to get CMC Vellore if you belong to Gen category.
