Hello,

No, CMC Vellore does not have a separate sports quota for MBBS. Admission is based on NEET UG scores and the merit list. There are different seat categories like state quota, open, minority, and staff quota, but there is no specific sports quota or marks for sports.

Hope it helps!

Hello,

And it's expected that for MBBS and other NEET-based courses, the application process will be expected to begin shortly in Feb-March.

For more clarifications, you can verify the official portal of CMC Ludhiana (https://www.cmcludhiana.in/) .

Hope it helps with your query. Good luck.

Hello,

At CMC Vellore, for MBBS under the management quota (including Saurashtra minority), fees are around 13–15 lakh per year, while government quota seats cost about 80,000–1 lakh annually. Additional hostel and mess charges may apply.

Hope you understand.

Hello,

CMC Vellore me MBBS ke liye aapko NEET score jaruri hai. Aapko phele NEET-UG clear karna hoga aur CMC ki official website pe registration karna hoga. Total 100 seats hoti hai jisme se kuch Christian Minorities and other ke liye hota hai. Admission All India merit aur Tamil Nadu state quota dono se hota hai, but cutoff usually high rehti hai.

To get into the MBBS program at Christian Medical College (CMC) Vellore, you must first pass the NEET-UG exam with a good score. For open category candidates, this typically means scoring above 600 marks, while Christian minority-sponsored candidates may need slightly lower scores. Admission mainly depends on your NEET rank. You also need to meet eligibility requirements, such as completing 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology, and English, and achieving at least 50 percent marks (40 percent for reserved categories). The application process starts in February, usually around February 11, and ends by the end of March. You must submit an online application and upload necessary documents, such as academic certificates, your NEET scorecard, and minority certification if it applies to you. CMC has 100 MBBS seats. Out of these, 70 are under the management quota (which includes minority-sponsored seats), and 30 are filled through Tamil Nadu state government counseling (DME). Applicants who want to get in through the management quota must also submit a separate application to CMC and take part in their internal merit-based selection. After NEET results are announced, eligible candidates must register for Tamil Nadu DME counseling to compete for government quota seats.

To get an MBBS seat at CMC Ludhiana, you must qualify NEET UG and apply through Punjab state counselling (BFUHS), as BC C category comes under Punjab state reserved category.

As a BC C category candidate, you’ll need around 490–520+ marks based on previous years' trends.

CMC Vellore admits students through NEET-UG followed by Tamil Nadu state counselling . You must apply on the CMC portal and also register for Tamil Nadu counselling. The annual MBBS fee is around rupees eighty four thousand , including tuition and other charges. Hostel and living expenses are additional.

With 353 marks and AIR 3,10,052 in OBC category , getting an MBBS seat in CMC Vellore or any government medical college is highly unlikely , even under the SGC (Single Girl Child) or minority category. However, you can still apply and wait for later rounds or consider private or allied medical courses .

Good evening,

hi,

With a NEET 2025 All India Rank of 5,06,831, getting a self-financed Christian minority seat in CMC Vellore is not possible. CMC Vellore usually has very high cutoffs even for Christian minority seats. The closing ranks for these seats are mostly within the top 10,000 ranks, and most students getting into CMC Vellore score around 600 marks or more. Your current rank is much beyond the required cutoff.

Dear student,

Yes, CMC Ludhiana is one of the best choices for BSc Nursing in Punjab , often preferred over most semi-government medical colleges.

Why CMC Ludhiana Stands Out:

  • Reputation : It's a well-known and respected institute with a long legacy of quality education.

  • Merit-Based Admission : Seats are offered through an entrance exam (UG-AWT), with no donation or management quota.

  • Strong Academics : The college focuses on practical training, clinical exposure, and preparing students for careers in India and abroad.

  • Good Placements : Many students land jobs in top hospitals and also go on to work internationally.

  • Excellent Facilities : CMC provides modern labs, good infrastructure, and a well-maintained hospital for hands-on learning.

Life in CMC Ludhiana and perks of doing MBBS from here

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure of my college is really good. All the facilities are provided to students and teachers. Classrooms are well maintained. Each class has smart board and is fully air conditioned. We have a really big library, provides us a good environment for self studies. For sports, we have really good snd well maintained grounds. And one of the best thing about my college is hostel life. It has one of the best hostel life , which we will definitely miss after graduation.

My overall experience has been great here.
