To get into the MBBS program at Christian Medical College (CMC) Vellore, you must first pass the NEET-UG exam with a good score. For open category candidates, this typically means scoring above 600 marks, while Christian minority-sponsored candidates may need slightly lower scores. Admission mainly depends on your NEET rank. You also need to meet eligibility requirements, such as completing 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology, and English, and achieving at least 50 percent marks (40 percent for reserved categories). The application process starts in February, usually around February 11, and ends by the end of March. You must submit an online application and upload necessary documents, such as academic certificates, your NEET scorecard, and minority certification if it applies to you. CMC has 100 MBBS seats. Out of these, 70 are under the management quota (which includes minority-sponsored seats), and 30 are filled through Tamil Nadu state government counseling (DME). Applicants who want to get in through the management quota must also submit a separate application to CMC and take part in their internal merit-based selection. After NEET results are announced, eligible candidates must register for Tamil Nadu DME counseling to compete for government quota seats.

hi,
With a NEET 2025 All India Rank of 5,06,831, getting a self-financed Christian minority seat in CMC Vellore is not possible. CMC Vellore usually has very high cutoffs even for Christian minority seats. The closing ranks for these seats are mostly within the top 10,000 ranks, and most students getting into CMC Vellore score around 600 marks or more. Your current rank is much beyond the required cutoff.

Strong Academics : The college focuses on practical training, clinical exposure, and preparing students for careers in India and abroad.
Good Placements : Many students land jobs in top hospitals and also go on to work internationally.
Excellent Facilities : CMC provides modern labs, good infrastructure, and a well-maintained hospital for hands-on learning.
Hi Pinki,
The Christian Medical College or CMC Vellore is a prominent medical institution with typically high cut offs for NEET exams. Even for OBC/ SC/ ST the cut off ranges from 520 to 550. So with the score of 450 it is difficult to confirm whether you'll get a seat there or not. But keep trying.
GOOD LUCK!
