With this rank it isn't possible even if  you are from  SC Rural category.

It is quite difficult to get government seat with this rank. If you have had 10k rank, it would have been still possible.

If you consider last year closing rank of OBC2a then it was 3700 for veterinary college Hassan and around 4200 for Gadag.

Hello student. You did not mention the place But in general, 55000 rank is a bit high. So, there are lesser chances to get veterinary colleges as such. But if there are any quotas available such as state or sports quota  your chances  might improve. I suggest you to apply for other colleges to be on safer side
