Hello
Greetings
Your percentile is 60 It means 60% student of the Total student appeared for the Exam are Behind You Therefore 40% students of the Total students appeared for the exam are Ahead of You, Therefore Your calculated rank is 349788
Your Rank would change Either Your Percentile Score is Increases in the next attempt or Number of Student increases in the Next attempt,If the Number of Student Increases to 1400000 and Your percentile remain same then Your New rank would be 560000
Your rank is Not Good and You will Not qualify for JEE Advance You should Try in the Next attempt of JEE Main which is JEE Main April and Try to perform well
If Your Percentile Score Increases in the Next attempt Then Your Rank would Be calculated By the Following Formula
(100 - your total percentile score (Higher of two)) X Student appeared in JEE Main/100
Hope this Helps All the Best
Hello nidanaazAs for now it's very difficult to say the rank based on percentile as it will depend on the number of students giving the exam..Still you can use the formula rank =(100-percentile)*874469/100 This rank is subjected to change based on the april session and hence is not final. You can predict your rank based on this and also some colleges. Therefore, you have to wait till the april session to get to know the qualifying rank or percentile for advance.Hope this helps
Good Luck!
Use the JEE Main 2026 Rank Predictor to estimate your expected rank based on your scores or percentile and plan your college options smartly.
Hii60 percentile is bit low score for being eligible for JEE Advance. Although the cutoffs have not yet been out for JEE Advance but it is known to all that top 80th percentile scorers get qualified for JEE Advance.Since the final result will depend on the scores of both the january and april session, I would suggest you that wo prepare well and appear in april session also. So that your score improves and you stand a chance for appearing in JEE AdvanceHope this helpsThanks!!
