If you want admission in any government funded college or NITs/IIITs through mains then you should have 75% marks in your 12 boards.
Since you are from SC category then you must have 65% marks.If you want to increase your percentage then you will have to appear for improvement exam and for JEE you need to give all the papers next year for improvement scores what it means is that you cannot opt for 1 or 2 subjects for increasing your marks, you will have to give exam of all the subjects.

If you consider the basic eligibility criteria to get a college under JEE mains then i think it would be difficult for to get any college because you don't have a proper percentage in your boards which is 65% for SC/ST or top  20 percentile in your respective boards.

But if you consider recent developments and few media reports such as Indian Express or TOI then talks has been going around in MHRD of revoking this boards rule for this year.

They are just the rumors so please do not believe them, wait for the confirmation from our Government.
