As per the previous year cutoffs your chances of getting CSE at VIT Vellore are neither good nor bad, at 65 marks your rank would be around 7k-7.2k. The cutoff for CSE at VIT Vellore closes around 6.5k-7k, and if you have scored around 80+ then your chances become quite good, but in your case if you are lucky maybe you can get a seat in CSE, as of now both possibilities are real.

But You should get a score approximately 90 marks to definitely get CSE branch at VIT Vellore as I assuming you are a general category student. Although,it will depend on the overall performance by the students. But to be on the safe side,try to get 90 and a rank within 5000 to get the above .
