I don't know much about Nirma College but the admission in L.D.college of engineering is purely based on your merit list of ACPC which is made by considering your 60%Board marks+40% GUJCET marks.

Generally the merit list comes out in month of May and you can expect computer or IT or any other branch in LD unless you have a rank of around 3000 for general quota. Computer and IT usually get filled up very quickly and it closes around 1200 or so. The admission is not given on any other basis than this. So prepare for GUJCET properly to achieve good merit.
