You could get category 1 not sure but chances are there as per my calculation and considering various factors like counselling time, JEE mains exam counselling and all.

Last year the category 1 for Vellore campus finished at 5400 but last year VIT counselling was after the JEE mains counselling but this year case is just opposite.

Since you have not mentioned about the name of examination for which you are seeking guidance so it is little bit difficult to guide you accurately but although as you are from Andhra Pradesh and asking about category 1 so you might be concerned about VITEEE result.

So if you are talking about VITEEE then on the basis of your given rank you have decent chances of getting CSE branch according to previous years' cut-off trends but the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors and hence exact prediction cannot be made as cut-offs for this year also has not been released.
