Still kcet examination hasn't been conducted, how you got 80 marks ? Are you excepting 80 marks?

I assume your excepted marks in KCET is 80 , considering your marks and score in class 12. Your expected rank would be around 50000 to 60000.

By this rank, it is not possible to get seat in top colleges in Karnataka.

At 71% in puc and 80 in kcet your estimated rank is between 32000 to 50000 . With this rank you can get seat in top engineering colleges of karnatka like
new horizon, dayanand sagar, sidganga institute of technology,NIE mysore,neetimeenakshi institute of technology although you may hardly get IT Branches but you can try for mechanical engineering, automobile engineering,electrical engineering.
