Because you scored 72 percentile in general category, it's not sufficient marks for getting admission in any nits.

But, there are many other options. You can appear for viteee and srmjeee which are private colleges. You can also choose cv raman, which is also a premium institute.

You have other options like taking admission in lovely professional university, GITA, and many more.

Don't lose your hope, take admission in best possible college and move forward.

As you are from General category there is no guarantee of getting the state level goverment colege with 72% score but if you were from any reserved category you can easy get any of the state level goverment college.But you can apply for many of the private colleges or university.There are many good private colleges and university in India for which you can apply and you easily get any of them.There may be a separate entrance exam for a particular college or university in which you want to take admission.You can fill up the application of that college and by qualifying the entrance exam you can get college and also you can get scholarship from private university beacuse of your JEE main percentile.
