Hello Aspirant,
Seeing your percentile and rank you must apply for the JEE Advanced examination considering the cutoff list released by the official NTA website.
You must opt and give the JEE Advanced examination and study for it. Since, for ST category people, cutoffs for IIT is very less. But still study hard and you would definitely get a good IIT depending upon your rank and category.
But remember , you can get a good IIT only if you score good in JEE Advanced examination
Hope that helps you. Good luck.
First of all, You need to write JEE Advanced to get admission into IIT.
With this 72.8 percentile, a s per the previous year cutoff as a ST category the chance seems less to get a seat even in NITs, IIITs & GFTIs.
however you can try for state counseling like Punjab, Haryana, MP, Etc.
