For admission to Delhi University, best four subjects are considered. The best four subjects should be one language, one relevant subject (Eg. Maths for B.Sc. Mathematics or English in language for BA English), two optional subjects. And based on several factors like seat matrix, category to which you belong, course and college cut-offs are released for several rounds of admission. And if you have marks above this cut-off, only then are you able to get a seat in any DU college.

You can check previous year cut-off through ten rounds at http://www.du.ac.in/cut-off.html. The cut-off depends on course and the quality of college. Top colleges have cut-off in the range of 95%.
