Congrats! For getting 87.62 percentile in JEE mains. But you didn't mention your category. And your home state. I asked this because If you're native of West Bengal then there is some reservations for candidates of west bengal.

There is only 15% seats are been offered by the jadavpur university to getting admission in the jadavpur university by the exam JEE Mains. And Jadavpur University is really pretigious University, and also it colleges- fees are low. So there is very high compition for getting admissions in this university.

On basis of 87.62 percentile there is a few chance to get admission in there. But if you are native of West Bengal then you can take advantage of Home state reservation quota and also category wise reservation. Due to this your probability of getting admission there will be highly.

You can't get admission in Jadavpur University using JEE mains.Admission to Jadavpur University  will be based on General Merit Rank in WBJEE only. One has to apply for WBJEE(West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations ) examination and attend counselling. Based on your WBJEE rank you may choose the course . An ideal rank for top engineering branches is around 500. WBJEE 2020 was conducted on 2nd February,2020 and the results were declared on August 7,2020.
