PEC University of Technology, formerly known as Punjab Engineering College, is an engineering institute located in Chandigarh, Punjab. The institute was founded in 1921 and is one of the oldest educational institutes in the country. PEC University of Technology offers B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D. courses.

Eligibility criteria  

• Candidates should have passed HSC in Science stream for pursuing B.Tech courses and a graduate degree in concerned disciplines for PG programs
• Admissions will be based on National level entrance exams, JEE Mains for B.Tech and GATE for M.Tech.
• For the Ph.D. program, the university conducts its own written entrance exam and interview.

According to the previous year cutoff, the students getting rank up to 2,50,000 were entitled to take admission. whereas you have ranked near about 70,000. So, you can take admission in PEC Chandigarh.
