But if you compare mechanical engineering with merinal engineering, mechanical is good then merinal as the placement is high when compared to merinal.

JNTU, Kakinada does not offer Marine Engineering but it offers Mechanical Engineering. You have not mentioned your category assuming that you belong to general category the cut off in 2019 to get admission in JNTU, Kakinada in Mechanical engineering was 5218. Considering the previous year cut off you do not have chances of getting seat in this college. But cut off may increase or decrease depending on number of candidates qualified, difficulty of exam and number of seats available etc.
