You still may have extremely low chances of securing CSE/ECE at VIT Chennai in Category 3/4/5, however ending up paying a much higher tuition fee. You may even try for ECE/IT/EE/MECH under Category 2-4 at VIT Vellore, in that case. Perhaps CSE at VIT Bhopal, under Category 1 or 2 seems a much better option, with a lower tuition, good faculty, modern infrastructure and somewhat at par placements.
