JEE MIANS is one of the most renowned entrance exam for getting admission in the engineering college. As you have scored 96 percentile in Jee Mains 2020, I can expect your rank around 40000-45000.

Generally, It is very difficult to get CS branch in any NITs or IIITs colleges. But as you prefer some north east campus then you sure get CS branch in those colleges like NIT Mizoram, NIT Nagaland, NIT Meghalaya.

CS in NITs at this rank is tough but you surely can get the CSE branch in some of the IIITs which include;

IIIT Guwahati,IIIT Vadodara,IIIT Kota,IIIT Nagpur,IIIT SriCity,IIIT Ranchi etc.
