See when u are comparing these two things.let me tell u this is the question which almost every student ask in their life after their 12th(PUC).

If you are comparing both the streams then let me tell u the most favoured answere for this will be engineering.this is because it provides these advantages with respect to bsc:

1.Engineering is considered more prestigious course and in a country like India there is a blind run for it.

2.Engineering provides with plenty of scopes as compared to bsc.

3.More job opportunities are available in engineering as compared to bsc.

4.Engineering is a technical course and so it is more preferred as everyone wants some sort of Technical knowledge nowdays.

Though engineering has these advantages over bsc but go for it only if u think u r capable and have interest in it.Also engineering is considered more tougher than bsc .and doing engineering from an reputed institute requires hard work.

Otherwise you can opt for bsc also.

Ultimately it's your hard work,knoweldge and of course your destiny which is going to decide what you are going to become in future. so,choose wisely as no course is good or bad. It all depends on you. best of luck.
