IBS Hyderabad or fir that matter all IBS take admissions to MBA program through CAT, IBSAT and GMAT . The selection procedure is a two step process where the first step is to qualify the entrance exam and the second step is GD/PI round.
In the second step, the job experience and academic history of the candidates are also taken into consideration, so if your academic history is not good, it will certainly put you at a disadvantage. But, if you have performed very well in the entrance exam as well as the GD and PI, then there is a good chance that you will be selected despite the average academic history.
