Scoring Cgpa >8 is achievable and it is great for your future.

Since you have left with 7 semesters in your hand and if you try to score 9.5 in the remaining semesters you can achieve it means if you score 9.5 /10 Cgpa in your remaining semesters you will definitely get a Cgpa of 9 in your engineering degree.
