In your JEE-Main scorecard released by NTA there will be two columns for rank if you belongs to any of the reserve category in which one of the column is of category rank and other will be of your common rank. Here 690 will be considered as your category rank. According to the rank you have mentioned in the question you can get top NITs like NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Uttarakhand, NIT Jaipur as per previous year's cut-offs which you can check from the link given below :-
