Its not really a bad score , the minimum eligibility for Science stream i.e Maths, Physics, Chemistry  should be 60% for General Category and 50% for ST/SC.

You should write VITEEE entrance examination for getting an admission if you feel your mark is less than you have a opportunity to get good cutoff rank by writing this exam.

For you to select CSE depends on you 12th score and VITEEE cut off rank
