see most of the MNCs like TCS, Accenture, wipro has recommendation of 2 year gap between studies or employment. however you need to give reasons for the gap of studies. however if you have gap for a financial reasons or health problem or any other course you have joined but don't continue you may tell the interviewer. however never mention like that you were trying for entrance exam.or neet exam for 2 years, because it may not show your best side. that's why be ready  with some valid  reasons.
