I have 511 marks in GATE 2021 in OBC category with an CGPA of 8.17. How are my chances to get MS courses in IITs in civil engineering branch?

hello aspirant,

As of now its tough to say because the analysis and also cutoffs change every year due to many factors like total students appearing for exam,difficulty level of paper etc..considering you from obc category,the last year cutoff for civil engineering in IIT bombay was score 540 for structual engineering where as for other streams like transporation systems it is 495,geotechnical engineering it is 495 ,water resources engineering 450,ocean engineering 450.all other IITS has cutoff more than 580.so you will have less chances to fetch seat in iits according to the cutoffs.note that as each year cutoff changes so are your chances into colleges.for more information refer to: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/gate-cutoff
