As per the admission procedures for DU, there are merit-based and entrance based courses. If you are applying for merit-based courses your admission will depend on the cutoff list prepared by the university. The admission will be based on the 'best of four' system wherein the average of one language one elective and two other subjects related to the course of your choice will be taken.

Since the cutoff keeps changing every year there cannot be an estimate of the marks. Also, you securing an admission will also depend on the college of your choice, their cutoff and the vacancy of seats. DU releases 5ive cutoff lists after which the cutoff list will be released if there are any vacant seats.
